The Engineering Division plans, designs and administers the construction of streets, sanitary sewers, water mains, storm sewers, and sidewalks throughout the City. The Division manages and inspects construction of all local streets and utilities and maintains record drawings for all facilities within the street right-of-way. The Division is responsible for storm water management, managing pavement condition of streets, coordination with WIDOT for connecting highway reconstruction, and assists the public with inquiries regarding street grades and locations for various utilities. They are responsible for the annual maintenance and update of many of the city maps and records.
